Who Are We

Sol and Voi is a multidisciplinary design studio exploring the relationship between space, form, and material. Rooted in interior architecture and expanded through art, objects, and research, our work blends clarity with character, balancing aesthetic restraint with expressive detail.

We approach every project as a narrative shaped through curiosity, collaboration, and deliberate intention. Whether a piece of art, immersive spatial environments or spaces that are grounded, atmospheric, and thoughtfully composed. Each piece and place is designed to invite presence, provoke reflection, and foster meaningful connection.

Our Journal

The Sol and Voi Journal is an extension of our studio’s practice an ongoing exploration of space, form, and material through research, reflection, and conversation. It brings together perspectives from designers, artists, and makers across disciplines, offering insight into process, philosophy, and the nuances of craft.

Rather than documenting finished work alone, the journal focuses on what underlies it: the thinking, context, and questions that shape how and why things are made. It’s a space to consider design not as output, but as a way of seeing and engaging with the world.

THE BLOG

The Weight of Space

Design has never just been about how things look. It’s about how we live, how we move through space, how we connect with our surroundings. In a world that’s shifting faster than ever, the environments we create—our homes, our shared spaces, our objects—need to do more than keep up. They need to ground us.

At Sol and Voi, we believe in design that slows you down. That gives shape to quiet. That invites you to notice details, textures, and the relationship between solid form and voids in space. From interiors to objects, from art to architecture, we think in systems—but we work in connections.

A material isn’t just a surface. A layout isn’t just a plan. A chair, a light fixture, a wall—all of them carry meaning. Good design gives these elements context and weight, letting them speak to one another in subtle, lasting ways.

In this journal, and across our work, we’ll be exploring the ideas that sit beneath the surface: how we design for atmosphere, not just function. How form follows rhythm. How architecture and art can inform each other. And how sustainability can begin with slowness—with choosing less, but better.

Because at the end of the day, design isn’t just a profession—it’s a point of view.
